GEORGE P. NOEL
Concentrates his practice in Civil and Commercial Litigation; Insurance Defense;
Personal Injury; Insurance Coverage; Premises Liability; Business and Transactional Law;
Wills; Estates; Medical Malpractice; Product Liability; and Real Estate.
George P. Noel has practiced law in Delaware County for more than 30 years
as an associate and partner in predecessor firms, subsequently as a sole practitioner
and now in partnership with D. Scott Bonebrake. In that span of time, he has
tried cases before every Common Pleas Court in Southeastern Pennsylvania
and has also successfully argued cases before the Pennsylvania Superior
Court, Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Third Circuit Court
of Appeals. He was co-counsel in the case of The Buckman Company
v. Plaintiff’s Legal Committee which was
successfully argued
in the Supreme Court of the United States, resulting in a
unanimous reversal in favor of Buckman.
Mr. Noel concentrates his practice in Civil and Commercial
Litigation with extensive experience in Insurance Defense,
Insurance Coverage, Premises Liability cases, Product Liability
and Motor Vehicle related litigation. He also is extensively
involved in the areas of Business and Transactional Law, Wills,
Estates and Real Estate transactions.
He has served as a lecturer at Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers
Association Seminars and has been a speaker and panel member
at Insurance Industry Seminars, including statewide Insurance
Agent Professional Liability programs for agents of a major
insurance carrier.
Mr. Noel has served as a mediator and arbitrator in connection
with all areas of litigation including: uninsured motorist, underinsured
motorist, as well as commercial litigation. He has served as a Judge Pro
Tem in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County and was a
founding member of the Guy G. deFuria American Inn of Court, holding
various offices in that organization, including service as President.
